Gustave Baumann, German Craftsman - American Artist

Gustave Baumann, German Craftsman, American Artist, was an exhibition that highlighted Gustave Baumann's woodblock prints and painting technique from the early 20th century. It was rewarding to have the opportunity to work on something at such a scale. From touch table graphics, to infographics, and marketing campaigns, all of the graphics that went into the show were created by myself with the help of the interdepartmental core team. Since Gustave Baumann was very hands-on, the direction of the graphics revolved around a hand-drawn style. All didactics were in frames with a variety of shapes, and the headers of the doorways reflected patterns around his home. The hand and heart in the middle of the title graphic represented a graphic that Baumann always used when signing work.
